And I saw them. But I swear! I never knew giants still existed those days. I pulled my mom’s sleeve but she didn’t seem to notice me. I pulled harder and called, “Mom! Mom let’s go! They’re going to step us dead!” but she did not listen. She was staring at them blankly. Oh no, I thought. My mom has gone hypnotized. I have to wake her up!
I looked around to ask for help. But the others- they were all the same! Everyone seemed tied up in their chairs and hypnotized. They were all staring at the giants, slack- jawed!


“God!” I cried in my mind. I felt wanting to cry but I thought I had to be strong. No one else could help them but me. My mom…the rest…I need to help them! I then thought the making of heroes really was true and it was going to happen to me, right there and then!


I was about to stand to wake them all up when a woman suddenly screamed. “ Aaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!” ---what an awful yell. She didn’t really look so cute to yell the way she did. She looked like my grandmother yet she yelled like me. It wasn’t a good combination. But there was something worse than that. She had gone mad!
I was going to pull my mom when suddenly the girl in our back screamed. And then screamed the guy, and then yelled the other, and the other, and another. Everyone was screaming!


And the giants! So this is what happens after they get the people hypnotized. I then tried to think of another way to solve the problem. I should call dad, I thought. I grabbed my mom’s handbag but she slapped me in the arm. “Ouch! Mom!” I shouted…I’m trying to save you, you know…I thought. I had my hand creep to the bag’s zipper then slowly opened it. I searched for mom’s phone while sang my favorite song. “ Boom tarat-tarat! Boom tarat-tarat! Tararat- tararat! Boom! boom! Boom!” I kept singing. I did that so mom won’t notice to which I was aiming. And it worked! Success! Victory is at hand! That was the name of my mom’s phone… Victory…made in China.
I was dialing my dad’s phone when my mom suddenly shivered. I then quickly looked at the others to see whether they were doing the same thing. And I saw one girl shiver…so did the guy…and the guy he was holding hands with.


I took a glimpse at the giants, they were facing each other. The guy giant suddenly held hands with the other girl giant. Then an all powerful wind rushed and whirled around them as the sea bellowed a great roar. I watched keenly at everyone and saw how they’ve gone hypnotized again.


Right! I thought. So that’s how they used their powers. That’s how they charge like Gokou, and Eugene, and Naruto!


I stood on my chair and held the phone with me. If I call my dad now, he still won’t be of great help. It might be too late if I’d still wait for him. I have to stop the giants from charging. Now is the time or else everyone’s going to be hypnotized forever!

“Yaaaaah!!!” I shouted feeling like it was going to be the end of the world when suddenly- the place turned black. It was so dark that I didn’t see anyone, not even my mom. And the giants…they were gone, too. I lost my mom!
“Mom!” I called out when suddenly a hand from my back knocked off my head. “Ow!” then the place was illuminated.


The next thing I knew I was in the mall. And there was the girl, and the guy… and the guy he held hands with…and the giants! On posters?
